Munro and the Short Story- Narrative 20.2

I've just learned that Narrative 20.2, a special issue reprinting versions of papers delivered at the 11th International Conference for the Short Story in English, has just been published.

This issue, available through Project Muse, contains essays on Alice Munro's short story, "Passion," all of which were delivered in a plenary session to start off the conference. I am most excited to see work by Michael Trussler printed here. I remember listening to this session at York University in Toronto and being completely blown away by Michael's interpretation of the Munro story. Listening to this talk opened up new ways of considering the short story for me.

I'm excited to read this issue, including work by Susan Lohafer, Charles E. May and discussions between five short story scholars.
