Last week, I spent a few afternoons cutting out windows in the covers of my Farwell chapbook so the translucent UV ultra and images on the inner cover would show through. In order not to cut into the kitchen table where I set up shop, I stacked a few magazines and a sheet of cardboard on the table. In the process of cutting the squares, the magazines were mangled and sliced. I threw them in the recycling bin and gathered up the folded books.
A few days later, I found this message waiting for me on the floor, ostensibly cut from one of the magazines and left for me to discover...
Ha! I'll take that as a sign.
Booked our hotel for Saturday. Excited to see the other books!
